Awesome Snook Catch While Skipping New Lure Under Docks

Just wanted to share a fun snook catch that took place while skipping our new shrimp lure up under some docks.
During a recent dock fishing trip with light tackle expecting only smaller fish since it was the middle of the day with weak tides, I came across this big snook that inhaled the shrimp lure.

Somehow this snook didn’t get away!!
While recently testing out the NEW Power Prawn USA artificial shrimp lure under some docks, a nice snook couldn’t resist striking this lure.
After skipping this lure underneath docks in search of a bite, this big snook took us for a ride!
The fish immediately darted off and the line began to rub against the dock pilings.
In this situation, you want to keep the line tight and remain patient.
The snook unbelievably behaved and swam underneath the dock to where it could be handled and released.

I hope some of the kids at Admiral Farragut see this video. I graduated there in 73′ and we had no idea there were big snook under the docks.
How awesome! My dad went to that school too.
That was impressive! Luck was with you but mad skills on display! Did you get a measurement? Great catch!
Thanks James! I didn’t measure it. My guess is that it was around 32 inches long.

Now that’s a double winner, kept Otis in the boat and got that monster into the boat, great video, Luke – as always love watching Otis, lol
Thanks for making time to post the nice comment David!
Like another wrote, I’d like to see a smaller version.
The Junior size has already been designed and is in production now. Should be ready in a month or two.
Awesome
Thanks Matt!
This vid never gets old! [for me] Way to keep Otis behaved. LOL Oh, yeah, super snook on super-smooth extraction!
