This could be one of the best fishing videos that we have seen this year…

Not only is the message incredibly powerful, but the redfish footage is one of a kind awesome.

Color me impressed Shallow Water Expeditions!

They do an amazing job of hitting us all over the head with what we all know to be true (that we are addicted to our cell phones), while also giving us a glimpse of how awesome it can feel when we turn the phones off and hit the water.

Aka – “Getting in touch with what really matters”

You’ll know pretty quickly why this video by our friends over at Shallow Water Expeditions is called, “Out of Touch”.

Great job guys.

Note: Give these stud anglers at Shallow Water Expeditions a shout if you are ever fishing up in the panhandle of Florida and want to get on copious amounts of fish. These guides are the real deal.

Pa-POW!!!

What a strike!

Crazy how fast these wahoo come in for the kill.

And there is just nothing better than seeing some amazing fish strikes caught on film!

Right around the 1:35 mark in the video watch this Wahoo get stopped in its tracks. It happens so fast you will probably want to watch it a few times… or a 100.

And don’t forget to keep a eye on the screen at 2:58 mark as well… there is a surprise visit from the Tax Collector.

I kept waiting for the shark to come back by and get a bite, but it never happened.

Enjoy and Fish On!

Have you ever wondered what it looks like below the surface just seconds before a snook crushes your grunt or pinfish?

Then check out this amazing up close underwater view showing exactly what goes down between snook and small baitfish.

Of course, this might not be precisely how it occurs every time in nature due to the fact the diver was using his flashlight to zero in on the grunt, but then again the snook was probably a bit more cautious than usual due to the diver right behind him…

At the :21 mark, the grunt almost does an accidental turn around into the snook’s mouth! It looked like it was just inches away from being eaten!

It looked like it was just inches away from being eaten!

I guess the snook was still inspecting his food…

But at any rate, it never gets old seeing a snook stalking his dinner before going in for the kill like a lion.

This video definitely makes me want to hit the water and go snook fishing!

There are redfish videos, and then there are over the top freaking awesome redfish videos…

And this latest masterpiece by our friends over at Catch 1 Films certainly fits in the freaking awesome redfish video category.

In fact, this video is like watching a mini-movie.

Amazing from start to finish!

Heck, even the aerial footage during the credits at the end are worth sticking around for.

If you ever want to land some redfish like this, then look up Southern Fly Expeditions there in Lousiana (they are anglers that helped make this video possible with Catch 1 Films).

The anglers in this Louisiana redfish video are as follows:

Great job guys and we look forward to the next video!

Fish On.

A few weeks back, Strong Angler Trey Mikell and his girlfriend Madisen Griffis published some topwater redfish footage that went a bit viral in our private Facebook group called “The Salt Strong Fishing Tribe” (click here to ask permission to join).

So when I came across some of Trey’s amazing redfish footage on YouTube, I knew that I had to share it with all of you.

For those of you that love catching redfish as much as I do, you know that it doesn’t get any better than seeing a big red come up and slam a topwater lure.

In fact, just watching this video has me wanting to skip work and hit the water today (yes, just because I am president of a saltwater fishing company doesn’t mean that I get to fish every day…)

Check this great footage out below.

Keep up the great work Trey and Madisen! You guys are certainly looking Salt Strong!

Did BlacktipH just beat his own top-ranked Mullet Run Footage from last year?

Either way, you’ve got to see this!

So earlier this year we posted some “Florida Mullet Run” footage from our friend Blacktiph that was the best we had ever seen… (you can view it here)

In fact, we went as far as challenging anyone to send us mullet run footage that could beat it.

And over the last 6 months that Mullet Run footage continued to be shared and viewed like crazy (to the tune of over 13,000 Facebook Like and Shares from Salt Strong viewers alone)…

During that time frame, no angler or videographer has been able to match the amazing footage from that video…

Until today…

Ironically, it was none other than BlacktipH himself that beat his own video footage!

Check out this unbelievable South Florida Mullet Run footage that he just uploaded to his BlacktipH YouTube channel.

Is this the best Florida Mullet Run footage of all time?

Let us know what you think in the comments.

Note: If you aren’t a Florida saltwater angler and have no idea what the Mullet Run is, it occurs when mullet start heading south on Florida’s east coast when water temperatures begin to drop. These migrating mullet are headed south to warmer water and where grasses and algae grow during the winter.

And once they reach the south point of Florida, the sexually mature fish head offshore and breed in the Gulf Stream where the fertilized eggs catch a move northbound with the current, and the mullet cycle starts all over again…

BBC, I’m not sure how you captured some of this footage… and I don’t care… this is AMAZING!

I had to watch this video a couple of times as the up close mahi feeding footage was epic.

Kind of feel sorry for the flying fish… that thing didn’t have a chance!

Who knew that it was to tough to be a flying fish! This whole time I thought they had it made being the only fish with wings…

DARE: I dare you to watch until the very end and not want to share this one!

Wait until you see the final scene.

What a grand finale!

Enjoy.

There is a lesson to be learned from this “fish slap” video…

Never, under any circumstance, try to be funny and claim you have a magical fish bait that is the best in the world…

Why?

Because it is very clear that the fish gods will come and slap you back in place like they did this guy!

Check out what happens after this angler claims he has some super top-secret fishing bait…

Enjoy.

Warning: The following video may cause seizures…

And you might have to rewind and watch this one again folks… a lot going on!

Let me give you the brief notes so you know what is happening on in this wild redfish video:

  • A Florida angler (our friend Joey Antonelli – same guy that took the bite in the family jewels by the triggerfish) has an “In-Line” camera hooked on his leader so it will capture everything the live bait sees
  • The first couple of seconds of the video he is reeling his line and live bait up
  • When he tosses the live bait (and weight) back in, check out how many redfish the camera passes!
  • Within seconds of hitting the bottom, the live bait is getting nailed by redfish

Enjoy.
