The Rechargeable Fishing Lure That “Guaranteed” A Strike On Every Cast! [VIDEO]

I know what you are thinking…
How can any fishing lure attract a strike on every single cast?
And believe me, I was also incredibly skeptical when I stumbled across the video of this fishing lure known as the “Twitching Lure” that said it could guarantee a strike on every cast or your money back.
I mean, it just doesn’t even make sense to put a guarantee in place like that…
Not to mention, the advertisement said it could guarantee a strike in freshwater or saltwater. It sounds too good to be true!
But in any rate, it sure did get my attention to the point that I did some further investigation…
(FYI, I purchased a couple of these “Twitching Lures” online yesterday, and Luke and I will be doing a review on the “Twitching Lure” in the near future).
Update: We got the Twitching Lures in the mail and took them out to see if they can catch fish per their claim… click here to see our review of the twitching lure.
Now back to the video that I stumbled upon with this lure…
In full transparency, the video that I first found with the “Over The Top Catch a Fish on Every Cast Guarantee” appears to be the original video for this lure.
However it has now been replaced with an almost identical video on their main website without mention of the outrageous guarantee (basically an identical video that is a few seconds shorter due to taking the guarantee out).
Here is a screenshot of the original video so you don’t think I am making this stuff up (the guarantee was expressed both verbally and with text overlay on the video).
Note: If anyone from Twitching Lure company sees this, you might want to take that old video down from YouTube as it is still public for anyone to see…
Does The “Twitching Lure” Really Work?
First and foremost, the “Twitching Lure” is for real and it is backed by a real company with real people.
They even have a few pretty well-known guides/captains/fishing pros supporting the claims that this rechargeable twitch lure actually works (including numerous pictures and videos of both amateur and pro anglers catching fish with this twitch lure).
And they have used the video below on TV infomercials as well (not that it means the lure is any better just because it is on TV).
Here is an image from the Twitching Lure website showing some of the main features:
Regarding this lure being “Banned” in many states, I couldn’t find any specific details on which states it was “banned” in.
I can only presume that some tournaments don’t allow any lure that uses batteries, but there was also a post I came across saying that it was legal to use this “Twitching bait” in tournaments.
So I don’t have any real evidence that this is truly banned in certain states. Perhaps you can leave a comment if you know more about this.
Regarding the guarantee on catching a fish every cast… looks like they have abandoned that (certainly a good thing as that is way over the top), but they still claim it can catch more fish than pretty much any other lure on the market.
How Does The Twitching Bait Work?
According to the Twitching Bait website, this revolutionary rechargeable fishing lure has the following features:
- Patented Vibra-Strike technology triggers fish DNA to instinctively strike at the lure using the following actions:
- It vibrates
- It flashes
- It buzzes
- It glows in the dark
- Recharges in minutes
- Works in freshwater and saltwater for any fish
- Comes with a USB charger so you can charge from pretty much any device or computer
And you have to admit, their two slogans are pretty darn catchy…
“Salt or Fresh, Big or Small, the rechargeable Twitch catches them all”
“Fish can’t resist the Twitch”
Here is the video from their website so you can see the Twitching lure in action.

Conclusion
The jury is still out on how well this twitching lure actually works in saltwater.
We should have ours in hand by the end of next week, and we will take it out, test it out, and do a video review for you shortly after we receive it.

I purchased the “buy one get one free deal from the TWITCHING LURE INFOMERCIAL” and waited over 2 MONTHS to get and when it came I received 12 lures when I only ordered 2!!! HALF OF THEM WONT CHARGE as the RED LIGHT NEVER GOES OUT TO SHOW FULLY CHARGED!!! Does anyone have the 800 customer service number that I can call and straighten this mess out? I would appreciate it. Thank you, Dan Meissler/New Jersey!!! My email is “FISHNUT1118@GMAIL.COM
I need a rubber plug
Where can I get a rubber plug for the er3_9 lure
I have had one of these lures for a week, used it once and it failed to recharge, having a fit each time I tried to plug it in.
I have taken it apart and found that it has suffered massive corrosion of the circuit board battery and charging plug. Not an effective lure.
I like the device, it is a great idea but can I suggest that the lure is improved in two ways;
First supply a rubber blank for the charging hole so water cannot ingress.
Second, ensure that the attachment points are also sealed against water ingress.
If you own one and have not used it yet, fit a rubber plug in the charging hole, and run a tiny amount of clear silicon sealant around the joint lines at the attachment points, that may resolve the issue.
I have their Corsair and their Executioner and their crank bait .. I have had them for about a month now.. all of mine function and all of the lures I have selected in their lure selection have worked fine for me with out malfunction or any sort of charging difficulties.. I have made their crankbait one of my go-to lures for when I am targeting bass. I have had a good run with their lures so far and will continue to use them.. kind of sucks as I read some of the reviews… seems like the company does need to do some work on the mechanical end of these lures. Sucks that some couldn’t experience what the lures are made to do… as for guarantee every cast… mine do not… but I can say this at the least … the crankbait has given me my pb on two different lakes so far and the executioner has caught walleye for me as well. I am not affiliated with this lure company at all and just felt that in all the negative , these guys are trying to pioneer a new era of fishing lures.. when I fish these lures I deploy techniques with them , I just don’t cast and reel in… I target areas of water where I know fish will be laid up and work these lures just like I would work any other lure…the plus is that these vibrate and flash … If I were a fish I would want to investigate something like that too .. lol … anyways … I would at least consider to try 1 there is no harm in trying … it doesn’t have to be everyone’s favorite lure but I will contest that they do catch fish and I know for a fact the Mr. Bill Dance had a part in the development of these lures…
hope this will help some… but can’t please everybody … lol
I lost my plug that goes in after charging
Will that work
After charging my Lurer I can’t seem to get mine to work I’ve tried it in salt and fresh water but it has worked here and there but so far not when fishing any hints or at advice would be most appropriated.
My brother bought 2 of these things from the supplier and the they never even arrived after 3 monrhs
Their 2 for 1 deal isn’t. Marketing 101 Buy one get one free doesn’t mean “pay for additional shipping. Site can’t eve represent “deal” properly. Getting second on means pay price of lure not postage. Exact opposite of voice on add.
We bought a PAC of 2 cast the line after charging, tested in water to check it does glow and twitch, check, then off we went, cast it , no left for home unplugged the plug and its full of water, does not twitch, glow or charge, going to ask for a refund
