Hey guys, I personally don’t really care what it looks like, only if it works!! An the only way to fine out is to use it, so I for one can’t wait to try it! 😁 I’ve got quite a good assortment of lures an some work great sometimes an not at other times, if I catch only 3 fish with a lure to me its a good one. Just saying.😎 tight lines🐟
Sounds like you’re working it a little like a wake bait too.
Looks like a yozuri bait to me I don’t see what the fuss is all about the old original rapala has been around for about 80 some years now and has caught tons of both fresh and saltwater fish so I don’t see what’s so different about yours except the color but as usual you guys at saltstrong always think your lures are the best and while I agree they are good and catch alit of fish but the best well that’s a matter of opinion
This lure is more buoyant and has a smaller lip than any yozuri or rapala I have ever seen/tested, so it does have a uniquely different utility in spite of being a similar overall size and shape as other lures on the market.
Also, this lure (as well as our other customs) comes with high end single inline hooks in place of trebles which are better for the lure’s action in the water as well as for our personal safety when unhooking fish.
As you and I have surely experienced, it’s impossible to know for sure if a lure is or isn’t good by simply looking at it. I wasn’t very impressed with this one either at first site, but that quickly changed once I saw how it moved through the water… and most importantly, after seeing how fish responded to it.
I’m confident that your original opinion on this lure will be swayed if you decide to give it a shot once we get them in stock.
Not very helpful without a video.
Sounds good, just when I was thinking I needed something new in my tackle box!
Can’t wait to tie this on! Great podcast boys. Any thoughts of a 3/4oz or a 1oz to throw in the ole artificial surf box. Would be sweet to have inshore and onshore option! Great job boys.
Sounds awesome. Going to have to sell this hard to my wife as to when she says “you need more tackle!”
I must be missing something. Didn’t see a video version as stated.
It was accidentally deleted with a computer malfunction. But we were happy to salvage the audio. Sorry about that, Mark
