Sadly, My kids didn’t like fishing while they were growing up 🙁 I took them
Plenty of times and different places. The fight with a tight line just never stuck. My oldest will go fishing now but my youngest 2 could care less. I have videos of them catching giant uglys but it just didn’t seem to get em going.
Solid info Pat. Last month my wife and I met up with some friends who hadn’t fished since they were kids. I used that rig with little chartreuse jigs. Everyone caught something and that made it fun. One caught an ugly toadfish, but it still made for some excitement and conversation. Just remember to pinch the tail off.
Great tutorial Pat, should really help some folks get on some fish !!!
