Ha I clicked on your lure that said it was a slim shady 2.0 thinking it was a new lure and no it was just a misspelling of the slam shady which I have plenty of dont really do to much on that color here in jax fl where I live and fish but other 2.0s yes I use them quite frequently like the chartruese and slam shady combo 2.0 can’t quite remember what you guys named that color combo but it’s awesome in murky water here in jax fl where the water is like that at least I would say about 85 percent of the year and wow you spend all that money on tackle gear and a very exspensive yak and then miss out on a fresh absolutely incredibly delicious dinner because you let ALL your fish go but I know you don’t eat fish well so sorry you because I LOVE fish and always have something to show for my hard work and not just pictures and videos but anyways my favorite bait during the winter especially for reds is my old reliable chasebaits flick prawn in jelly color plastic shrimp I have caught tons of reds and trout and occasional flounder on this lure and even though it’s not sold in the US anymore because it’s an Australian lure and they didn’t do so well in the US I still can get them from strike zone sporting goods store here in jax while the power prawn I will admit is a great lure my confidence has always been more with the chasebaits flick prawn and now I have a way to make it even more better because it used to be not very good in depths greater then about 6 ft but I now buy the zman chinlock egg hooks in the quarter ounce size so now I can fish it in depths of up to about 12ft with ease and the hook is very easy to switch out and back again if I want I usually keep a couple with the hook that the lure comes with about an eighth ounce and a couple rigged with the zman quarter ounce ewg hooks but unfortunatly right now my fishing is on hold until I get my boat fixed since that terrible accident that happened to me on the 1st of dec while I was heading to one of my favorite flounder spots I frequent in the winter months and that was the 1st day of flounder opening back up in florida since the 6 week closure the idiotic drunk driver that hit me was a hit and run and he completely knocked my 17ft carolina skiff completely off the trailer and I had to drag it luckly it was still attached to my winch about 100 yards off the freeway to get it out of traffic and since then it has been an obvious nightmare trying to get my insurence to pay me but obviously it’s always about the money even though I ALWAYS payed my premiums on time everytime doesn’t matter to them anyways until I get my baby fixed it’s just wishing and not fishing for me thanks for the info and all you do
Great video showing that the fish are biting in the right zone.
