Things started off a bit slow but we were able to see fish darting out from the mud beneath us.
The fish were sitting very low and hunkered down toward the bottom.
After watching fish spook off and leaving mud clouds behind for some time, I finally hooked into a solid fish.
Once we were able to dial into the trends, the rest was easy!
These fish were keyed into a slow roll on the bottom as we transition out of late winter and into early spring.
