Getting Rid Of Sharks Once And For All [Sharkbanz]

It’s shark talk time!
If you’ve been fishing in the past 12 months, my guess is that you’ve noticed more sharks…
I feel like I’ve seen more sharks (and more sharks taking a bite out of fish on a line) than at any point in the past.
Fishing certain reefs and wrecks for grouper and snapper is almost impossible not to get sharked.
And it’s also impacting the inshore fisheries – including wade fishing.
So in this episode, Wader Dave joins me to discuss Sharkbanz.
Tight lines and enjoy!

Have notice many more shark encounters recently. Usually it is more when the water is warm. Have had them attack released fish as I released right next to my kayak.
Great video and tips.I used to wear a stringer with fish on it. Until I saw a blacktip swim towards me.
Glad you liked the podcast. A stringer of fish is like tying a chum bag to your waist – expect sharks!
This may be a dumb question, but is there any chance that it could repel inshore fish as well?
According to the website it doesn’t repel other fish.
I do a lot of wade fishing in West Bay in PCB and have seen a juvenile bull shark 5 yds from the shore at hide tide. Those are the ones I’m concerned with the most because like many juvenile species, they’re the ones with the least discernment. Would love to see these in the store or as a SS insider discount.
Just caught 4 26 to 33 in sharks yesterday near Poquoson (Chesapeake Bay).
I hope your weren’t wade fishing and if you were, hope you had your Sharkbanz on.
We went straight across to the eastern shore, close to cherry stone reef , just north of the anchored ships. Went at night to beat the heat, chumming hoping for a Cobia. Caught 6 sharks all were in the 4-6’ range. I do not know which species. Bay is over run.
