Fishing in the fall is phenomenal. The bait is abundant, the fish are feeding like there’s no tomorrow, and some of the biggest fish of the year are showing up.
The lures that have worked earlier in the year can be effective, but you’re going to have to switch things up if you’re going to take full advantage of the season. In this video, I’ll show you the top 3 lures I use in October along with some tips on when and why to throw them.

Great stuff Pat thanks.
Pat, great video!! Quick question regarding something I never seem to get right: How long of a leader do you use with the polk county tweaker for example when you are canoe fishing in the shallow water shown in your video? Is there anything specific or unique to the leader line that you would highlight as something to be aware of when pairing up the leader with the lure?
It sounds like the key is to be flexible and to rotate between the lures!
How many casts do you make before switching to another lure?
Awesome info,thanks for the tips!
