We are THRILLED to announce the release of a BRAND NEW lure color!
It’s called CRYSTAL.
Take a closer look in the video below!!
Crystal Lure Color [VIDEO]
The Crystal color is now available in the 2.0 paddletail, Prawn USA Original, and the Prawn USA Junior.
This has been a highly requested color for some time now.
It all started because of night fishing.
This color crushes inshore fish underneath docks at nighttime.
These lures are still in testing but due to high demand, we’ve added these three options to the shop.
So far, I’ve had the most success with these lures at night.
Please go ahead and grab yourself a pack and let me know what you think!

I would think that it contains just enough sparkle and flash that it would mimic a darting minnow or shrimp so it should be great in lowlight conditions in all water types.
I’m sure where your at in the gulf in Tampa Bay or any place in central and south fl where the water is crystal clear and natural colors do best these lures im sure would do great but in my mostly murky very dark tannin stained water here in northeast fl jacksonville st augustine area I have my doubts because usually I at least have found that most of the year here any dark color with either gold and or chartruse works best with the exception of the winter months when the water dies clear up a little but it is still no way nearly as clear as where you guys fish but I do night fish exclusively on the summer months so I decided to try 2 7 packs of each the 2.0 and the junior prawn anyways we will just have to see thanks for the update and all you do😀👍
I look forward to hearing your thoughts about this new color for your waters.
This looks sick! Cant wait to try them!
Glad to see that you like the look of the new color!!!
Here in Texas we fish a lot at night on the docks under lights. We use glow shrimp tails and paddle tails. We hold them under the lights to get them charged up and then start catching fish. Please make your lures in glow!
Great idea!
Wondering about this one and I guess I’ll probably be somewhat skeptical on this color until I see more testing …. So please test further Luke
Will do
Hmmmm…..Your tutorials say that color does not matter…..
The color factor is not anywhere close to the importance level of picking a good spot to fish, selecting the right lure to use and giving it a good retrieve that generates strikes.
But there are some situations in which fish actually do respond to different colors better than others, so we can’t just throw a random color and expect to always catch fish.
For beginners, we recommend just sticking with Slam Shady because it has proven to work in all water clarities. And not worrying about the lure color allows for the full focus to be on the more important factors.
But for advanced fishermen who are always looking for optimal results for every factor, trying out new colors can be a lot of fun.
It would probably be effective in clear water, particularly in winter.
Thanks for sharing the helpful insight Ray!
Excellent color for the gin clear waters where I fish – I’ll be stocking up on this one for sure! Great job SaltStrong team!
Glad to see that you like the new color!
Very excited about this
Glad to see that you like this new color!
Oh Boy, momma’s not going to understand. Gonna grab all three and ask for forgiveness instead of permission.
I think that’s a common male practice my friend lol
Haha!
