Merry Christmas. Find The Fish…

First and foremost, Merry Christmas.
This is the time of year when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, get a quick break from work, and hopefully, spend some time with our loved ones.
I’d also be remiss if I didn’t address the health crisis that many of us are personally dealing with right now…
I’m at the farmhouse in Georgia as I write this, and in the past 24 hours we’ve had two family members test positive for Covid (who were within an hour of pulling up to the farmhouse to give us all hugs), two employees here at Salt Strong just tested positive, and countless friends have it as well. This Omicron virus seems to be spreading like wildfire right now.
So my prayers go out to everyone having to navigate family gatherings, quarantine, and sickness during Christmas. I’m devastated that so many people will literally have to be locked in their rooms by themselves over the next week while everyone else is opening gifts, enjoying big meals, and fellowship.
Let me know I can pray for you or your family members specifically.
Up next I want to talk about three important words for 2022.
FIND THE FISH.
Here’s what I’m talking about.
We recently sent out a survey to our 26,000 Salt Strong Insider Club members asking them what the #1 thing we can help them with next year.
The one phrase that showed up on more surveys than anything else was to help them, FIND THE FISH.
Simply put, fishermen of all ages and skill levels desire to find the fish (FAST).
And that makes sense, right.
Most of us know how to tie knots, rig a Slam Shady, make decent casts, retrieve, and set a hook.
But what separates the SKUNKED from the PROS is the ability to quickly find the fish.
The 90/10 zone is incredibly real (and incredibly frustrating when you can’t find it).
So our BIG PROMISE to all of you Insider members in 2022 is that we are shifting most of our resources and investments into helping you find the fish.
Including:
- New technology that will literally show the top spots to fish in any area from Texas to Virginia based on tides, weather, water temp, wind, etc. This is next-level fishing intelligence that is completely DIFFERENT than anything that has ever been done before. We’ve been working on it for a while (and still have quite a few months of development left), but let’s just say you’ll know when it’s ready. HINT: It will be our biggest launch ever. The best news is that all Insider members will get it for FREE!
- A new “on the water” Insider report every single day of the week! If you aren’t familiar with our Insider reports, that’s where our coaches go and fish a new area and SHOW EVERYTHING (including the pre-trip plan, every spot that fish were caught, the launch site, and more. And since it’s real-time, it’s the most valuable type of fishing intel you can get in terms of helping you find the fish in your area.
- Our coaches will be traveling this year to fish in brand new areas (and states) so they can report on where the fish are in any given area.
- New Insider Community (with some really amazing features including making it super easy to meet up with members in your area, regional tactics, tides built into the system, and more)
- More PRIVATE COACHING (for FREE) inside of the Insider Community where you can literally ask us anything (including where to find the fish…haha).
- And more…
I can’t wait to share more as I have it.
Well, that’s it for now.
I’m off to help the kids catch some bass here in the pond.
I hope you have an amazing Christmas.
Please let me know anything we can do to help you or better serve you.
Tight lines,
Joe Simonds

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Hi, Joe! Thank you for the prayers. My prayers go to you and your family and the community as well. And thank you and your staff for everything you guys do to help us become better anglers. Even though I don’t get to get out and do as much fishing as I would like to, I really enjoy your content and learning so when I do get out, I can at least catch something. God Bless! Ferdinand

Just wanted to tell all you guys at salt strong how much I appreciate how family friendly all your videos and instructions are. I know I can always let my grandson watch without worrying about four letter words popping up. It’s refreshing these days that someone can communicate without profanity. Keep it up. Hope all your friends and family recover from their illness. They will be in our prayers.
Great to hear. Praying for those that tested positive to recover quickly and no one else to get it.
Inspirational message Joe, I am proud to be associated with an an organization that is not afraid to speak about our Savior and share His importance in our daily life not to mention facing the trials of a pandemic. God speed in health to all peoples affected by covid and quick recoveries.
I completely agree!
Indeed…Thank you and God bless you and your family 🙌🏻🌈💕
Amen Larry!!! Couldn’t agree more!
Joe, when you are planning the trips out to various locations, remember I have a boat and you or your designated person’s are welcome to use it. As long as I can go and learn. I’m located in the panhandle of FL and a Insider Club member.

This letter show where your heart is at, and I’m proud to be apart of salt strong with men like you who believe in praying for others. Looking forward to all the new things y’all are working on.
I wish your relatives and your coworkers a speedy recovery from this terrible plague, and please, spread the “gospel” of loving your fellow human beings by wearing a mask, maintain social distancing, don’t let the guard down and GET VACCINATED, for the love of god!! I wish you and the Salt Strong Family a healthy and happy 2022, full of great catches!
Merry Christmas and all the best to you and your staff! At almost 77 yrs old I don’t fish as much as I once did but I always learn something from your articles and updates. Again, Good luck and good health to you and all your staff!
A Happy New Year to all of your family and staff. I do hope all those stricken will soon regain their health.
