This time of the year, schools of inshore fish will stack up along marsh systems and creeks.
You will find them in deeper water and on those super sunny days they’ll be on the flats as well.
The key is finding warmer water.

Where did you put in the kayak at? I’m in Charleston also looking for new spots!
Thanks for a great informative video John. That looks a lot like the creek in my neighborhood here in NC. Tight Lines!
Great video and awesome report, thanks John
That was a nice video of some great fish-catching action. One suggestion I have to make your videos even better is to occasionally show yourself wetting your hands before you handle your fish. Some people may not be aware that dry hands while handling fish will harm the slime coat on the fish, thus weakening their defense system to avoid potentially deadly waterborne bacteria. Every little bit helps to conserve our precious resources here in the lowcountry. Thanks for all you do to promote good clean living …
Great video and solid tips John!
