Are you using the ap on your phone while fishing in your kayak. I sometimes have issue with cell tower connection and using it in the sun light. On my IPhone.

I have gps on my boat that is powered from boat battery. Read the information on loading points into GPS and was thinking about buying handheld.

Thank you Ed

Well pat unfortunatly I have found on numerous occasions that the smarts app was totally wrong in showing locations where the fish are in fact I remember a couple times where the spots I was trying to fish were not even colored at all not even in light purple which is fair but I caught numerous fish there and the spots that were marked hot or excellent in either yellow or red produced nothing no bait seen or fish even after looking for bait birds and or boils in my opinion the app is over rated and I only tell it like I have experienced it i have ALWAYS said that what others seen or experienced is there buissness but for me I really don’t have alot of confidence in it just because it has alot of features on it surely doesn’t make it flawless sorry just saying🤔
