This NEW TOOL Helped Me Catch Fish Fast in Foreign Waters

After over 4 weeks of not being able to fish due to the birth of my first child, I finally had an open morning so I quickly planned a fishing trip.
This was the longest gap in fishing that I’ve had for over 10 years, so I thought it would be the perfect time to put the new AI Game Plan system in Smart Fishing Spots to the ultimate test by doing the following:
- Fish an area I’ve never fished before
- Force myself to only fish Smart Spot zones
- Use lures that the AI Game Plan system recommended
In the video below, you’ll see exactly how this new feature of the Insider Club platform works:

Conclusion
Time on the water has been limited lately with a newborn at home. The fact that I could explore new water, rely on just a few minutes of pre-trip planning, and get on fish that fast—it just reminded me how powerful this Smart Spots + AI Game Plan combo really is.
In the very first spot, we saw a trout, redfish, and snook within the first 12 minutes. And we had a lot of action with the lures that the system recommended.
It’s like having a fishing guide or buddy who already knows where the fish are and what they want to eat.
If you’re not able to fish frequently enough to know exact where the fish are, or just want to have a few extra spots to try out each trip on top your normal spots, I highly recommend giving this Smart Fishing Spots system a shot.

Congrats Luke!!
Now the real fun begins…
Congrats Luke!!! Very nice video
Thanks Pablo!
Great report. How about a picture of you mom @baby.
Thanks Ken! I’ll be adding a family pic once we all can get out on the water together (hopefully this weekend).
So much fun! Happy for the new dad too! Congratulations.
Thanks William!
great
Thanks Ronald!
Luke, congratulations.
Thanks Thomas!
Great stuff boys!!!!! I am using pre planning Smart Spots and it has been on the money!
Thanks Richard! I’m so glad to see that the system has been working well for you too.
Great report- question for Luke, first spot you mentioned you were getting skinny, so I imagine you were in 18 inch or less, how or why do you use 1/8 jighead instead of owner/hoss helix Weedless? Thanks
Thanks Jon! The area didn’t have much grass at all, so it could bounce along the bottom without any issues with the jighead that has an exposed hook allowing for a better hookup rate (compared to a weedless rigging) without much downside of getting snagged on the bottom.
Makes sense! “Instead of looking at Joes tiny snook!!!” Very funny
Joe or Luke, do you just tie a non slip mono knot to your lures or do you have a swivel somewhere online?
And congratulations on your first child. I will be fishing with my baby girl ( 24 yr old) in mid April . Time flies
Thanks William! I’ll do my best to make sure that she enjoys fishing. Great work getting your daughter interested in it.
I do not use swivels because line to line knots are stronger and it’s best to not have any weight on the line assembly so it stays up off of the bottom. Here’s a link to the type of leader assembly I use: https://www.saltstrong.com/fishing-school/advanced-module/knots/
Note: The bite tippet isn’t a requirement… it just helps increase strike rate without loosing power at the business end.
