On this particular day, the tides were changing over while fishing some back creeks which can be both advantageous for anglers but also pose an obstacle.
The fish will be in smaller, scattered sections of water but they will also be very willing to eat because they want to find a meal and swim out with the tide.
The perfect lure for these types of scenarios with tides moving and water whipping around points is the Power Prawn U.S.A.
Simply rigged weedless or on a jighead, it creates the ultimate artificial shrimp presentation as it bounces up and glides back down along the bottom.
The goal is to throw the lure out up current and let it drift back naturally up and down in the moving water.

The power prawns look very similar to the monster3x shrimp lures are they the same molds?
Rob I’m not familiar with those lures/brand unfortunately, so I couldn’t tell you! I’ll definitely check them out though.
Just to note while fishing a lightweight lure in heavy current with the tide be mindful of braid snot due to the slack line reeled in. When fishing with the current keeping a little tension on the line with the rod or taking up slack with fingers always helps

What do anise scents do to fish, and is it worth using?
Hey Leonardo, so fish actually have a better sense of smell than dog believe it or not! So adding scent to your lure really helps it stand out and the fish definitely sense it!
