The #1 Lure For Fishing In Shallow Water During The Fall

http://slam%20shady%20bomber%20fall%20lure

If you could only have one lure for fishing during the fall, what would it be?

I’d go with a big bulky paddletail, like the Slam Shady Bomber!

In this new video, learn why this lure is perfect for fall inshore fishing.

The Slam Shady Bomber is great for fishing the shallows, especially rigged on a weedless hook.

I’d recommend a Hoss Helix Hook (4/0 with a 1/8oz weight).

And there is a lot of plastic so you need to use a rod with a lot of backbone for a good hookset!

The Bomber enables you to cover a ton of ground.

In the fall, fish are more aggressive and baitfish are bigger (and the Slam Shady Bomber is the perfect lure to use during this time).

The big body and big tail make a ton of noise along with great action in the water.

And you don’t have to do anything fancy with the retrieve.

Just a straight retrieve with this big paddletail works great to catch snook, redfish, trout, flounder, and tarpon.

Hey Luke, just received an order today, to include Bombers in Slam Shady, Gold Digger, and F.R.E.D. Can’t wait to try out my new TFO combo. Hopefully I have all my bases covered for a good weekend of fishing the lower Cape Fear with some out of town company. Thanks for the great products. Cheers and Tight Lines!

Heading to the coast of SC post Ian. Watched the video about after the storm with Captain Peter. Is there anything else we should do to help find the fish up in the creeks.

Luke…when you use a jig head with the bomber, do you still use the Trout Eye, or move up to Redfish Eye? TE seemed a little short. Thanks!

Of coarse you would say the saltstrong number but not to me any gulp paddletail with a chartreuse tail on my reliable gold bladed spinnerbait is my go to bait after the spook Jr in either bone and chartreuse or black and gold if the water here is exceptionally dirty either by wind or rains
